Have you ever been on the train and wanted to go over your notes on that case you’re using for Herzog? Or maybe your laptop’s busted and you need to access a treatise on copyright. If you find yourself in a situation in which you need to research away from a computer, Lexis and Westlaw have apps that can help as long as you can access WiFi or use data. Note that some features, such as browsing topics in Lexis, are not available in the apps.
Also, while Lexis only has a dedicated iOS app (not Android), its mobile site is fairly robust and worth checking out if you run Android. While Westlaw offers iPad and Android apps, it does not offer an iPhone app. It also has a mobile site. You can find links in the table below:
