New Research Guide on Searching Business and Personal Information

Did you miss the Library Learning Series presentation, Just the Facts?  If you weren’t able to make it on Monday we created a guide describing all the resources that we covered in the session.  Attorneys often need to locate factual information about a new client, opposing counsel, witnesses or even a potential employer. This new research guide is designed to help law students and attorneys discover resources to answer non-legal research requests.

The guide is available under the Research Guides link on the library’s website and at: http://libraryguides.jmls.edu/companyperson

The guide includes a section on searching for information about lawyers and law firms, which can be helpful when you are applying for jobs.  It also includes suggestions for where to search for general news and information about a business.
