Feeling creative? Take a break from the stress of studying and enter the Peeps Diorama Contest for a chance to win prizes and be named the Illinois Law School Peep Champion! To see sample entries, stop by the display case in the library or check out these entries from a similar contest held by the ABA Journal last year. Photos of entries in this year’s contest will be posted on the library’s Facebook page.
Contest Rules
1) Diorama must include at least 2 Peeps candies. You may use any shape or color.
2) Diorama must be approximately shoe-box sized.
3) Deadline for entries is April 8 April 14 at 12:00 pm. Send photos to jsommer@jmls.edu or drop off the dioramas at the circulation desk.
4) JMLS winner will be announced during National Library Week, April 11-15th . Entries will be judged on creativity and execution. The JMLS Winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the online PEEPS & Co® store and a Just Born Gift Box filled with PEEPS® and other Just Born candy brands (total value over $100) donated by the Just Born candy company.
5) Winning diorama will advance to compete against winners from law schools across the state. The Illinois Law School Peep Champion will be announced during Finals. The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to the online PEEPS & Co® store and a Just Born Gift Box filled with PEEPS® and other Just Born candy brands (total value over $150) donated by the Just Born candy company.
Note: Images of all entries will be exhibited in an online gallery and may be used by the Just Born candy company for promotional purposes.
