Cornell University Law School’s Legal Information Institute (LII) has partnered with legal publisher NOLO and will make Nolo’s Plain-English Law Dictionary available for free on Wex, their community- built legal dictionary and encyclopedia.
Not familiar with Wex? It is like the Wikipedia of law. However, unlike Wikipedia, Wex entries are collaboratively created and edited by legal experts. Wex limits who can be an author or editor as a way of ensuring that the quality of material remains high and free of vandalism of various kinds.
If you don’t see an article the topic you are interested, please consider contributing to Wex. They welcome contributions from legal academics and distinguished practitioners. For more information on contributing to Wex, visit Getting Started as An Author.
